Nine-week series starting Sunday, 3 March
|
As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. Luke 9:51
Coming from heaven and returning to heaven, there was only one way Jesus was willing to take. His chosen journey home would ensure that all who trust in Him would some day share His home with Him. The gospel of Luke, and the book of Acts, will show us Jesus' journey and His one-way commitment to bring us home too.

Worship and Teaching Night
|
Monday, 4 March 2024 | 7:30pm
FAC Auditorium
|
On Monday, 4 March, from 7:30pm, we will be holding a worship and teaching night at FAC. All ages and stages are invited. Psalm 96 says, “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth”. So, in response all the songs we’ll be singing on the night are written by the Figtree Worship team, many of which we’ve begun to sing over the past year. We’ll hear a couple of short talks from our teaching team focusing on the Scripture passages from which the songs are written. If this is your regular LifeGroup night, you might want to consider bringing everyone along. It will be an enriching night of singing and hearing from God’s word. More information click the button below.

Help us bless our community with home-cooked meals! We need your help to keep our Pastoral Care freezer stocked with meals for those in need.
To get involved, collect meal prep containers and food handling guidelines from the church office during the week or the Welcome Desk on Sundays, prepare meals at home and then drop back to the church office.
When preparing meals, take a moment to pray for those who will receive them through our Manna and Pastoral Care ministries.

AGM – Annual General Meeting
|
Praise God for our Wardens, Parish Councillors, Nominators and Synod Reps, who all served our parish with such gracious and selfless hearts over the past 12 months; for the stability they have provided and their dedication and commitment in governance leadership, which provided the framework for the Ministry Team to plan, lead and implement ministry.
Pray that attending the AGM next Sunday will be a priority for our parish members, and for prayerful consideration in nominating and then electing godly men and women for the governance leadership of our parish this year.
Pray for the preparation of presentations; for Robin Kinstead as our Senior Minister, the Wardens and Andrew Brennan, our treasurer, with financial reports.
